2014 hello!

This is my attempt in making my life more interesting in 2014. How?
1. Keeping a blog will mean that I have something to do in my free time
2. I can keep a record of all the new things(i hope!) that I have done, or learnt in this year which is mainly whether I am keeping up with my new year's resolutions.

As doctors, we do not have the luxury of knowing when we will be free. Because of that, we are not able to commit to anything other than our jobs and family. That itself takes up too much of our time. We have all gotten used to that, that's old story. But the problem comes when we are free. .... We do not know how to fill our free time. I have spent countless Sundays and holidays, not knowing what to do and at the end of the day, the feeling of unfulfillment haunts my Sunday evenings.
This was not how it used to be. I had hobbies. Reading. The piano. Hmmm. Maybe I didnt.
So anyway, this is me, trying to make my life more interesting, starting with a blog.
I am not a good writer, but I used to write stories and it used to be pretty good. I used to play the piano. My heart still soars with the sound of classical music. All these were suppressed once I embarked on the journey to becoming a doctor. But it is not too late. I am now 28, 2 years short to being an ENT specialist, and I am determined to learn to enjoy life. Wish me luck!:)
